Hospital Consultation Protocol

Veterinary Specialists of Sydney (VSOS) will remain open and seeing patients as an essential service:

1. You are welcome to have a Zoom consultation from home

OR

1. Come to the hospital with your pet

We ask that if you are unwell or have been in contact with someone who is, that you remain at home.
We have Zoom consultations available for those unable to travel to the hospital.

For those coming to our hospital the protocol is as follows:

Veterinary Specialists of Sydney (VSOS) is now open and seeing patients as an essential service:

If you are fully vaccinated:

• One person per pet will be allowed to enter the hospital at a time. Prior to entry, you must check in via QR code and ring the intercom/video monitor located on the front door to show our reception team your vaccination document.
• Social distancing must be adhered to and masks must be worn in doors at all times.

We ask that if you or a close contact are unwell or have been to a hot-spot, that you remain at home. We have ZOOM consultations available for those unable to travel to the hospital.

If you are not fully vaccinated:

Arrival: please telephone the hospital (02) 8376 8767 from your car, OR, ring the intercom/notify reception that you have arrived. Please WAIT in your car with your pet.

Consultation: When the vet is ready to see your pet someone from the pet care team will come to collect your pet. Our vet and pet care team will be fully masked.

1. 1. We can consult with you over the phone or via ZOOM.
   2. Please wait in your car

Going home: When your consultation is complete, the pet care team will return your pet to the car with medications and payment can be made over the phone.

Visitation Policy

• One fully vaccinated person per pet will be allowed inside the hospital at a time.
• Anyone who is not fully vaccinated or wants to visit a pet with more than one friend or family member, will be allowed to visit their pet outside on the designated grass areas.

Mobile Ultrasound and Surgery:

• Mobile services will continue to follow covid-19 protocols between hospitals.
