Dr Frank Gold

Dr Frank was born and raised in California and moved to New Zealand as a teenager. She attended boarding school in Hawke’s Bay and later pursued her education at Victoria University in Wellington, earning a Bachelor of Science with a major in chemistry. Following this, she dedicated several years to semi-professional roller derby and held various hospitality positions to support her endeavours.

In 2016, Frank enrolled in veterinary school at Massey University, ultimately graduating in 2020 with a BVSc degree. Her academic accomplishments were recognized with a Massey University Scholar Award, and she was honoured as the Valedictorian of her graduating class. In 2021, she commenced a rotating internship at Massey University, where she found herself faced with a multitude of diverse and complex cases. Her internship proved to be both highly challenging and equally rewarding, leading her to discover her passion for internal medicine, with a particular focus on neurology and endocrinology. Dr Frank joined the VSOS team in 2023 and has loved her time treating Sydney’s pets.
