Emergency Veterinarian
Dr Georgina Taylor is one of our amazing ER Veterinarians. She was born and raised in Australia, where she initially studied a Bachelor of Agricultural Science at the University of Sydney. Following her graduation from the University of Sydney, in 2009 she began studying a Bachelor of Teaching at the University of Technology Sydney. She then went on to teach Junior and Senior Sciences at a range of schools across Sydney, before moving abroad to Scotland to study a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at The University of Edinburgh.
Dr Georgina or ‘Georgie’, as she is affectionately known within the VSOS team, began her career as a veterinarian in Northern Ireland whilst simultaneously studying her Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care at the University of Chester. In 2020, Georgie enrolled at the Royal Veterinary College in London, where she completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice. During this time, she worked in London as a Senior Assistant Veterinary Surgeon at Wolfe Vets before coming to work for us here at VSOS in July of 2023.
Georgie has proven herself to be an invaluable member of the VSOS Team and never fails to put a smile on our faces each day with her hilarious personality and brightly coloured socks!
