We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time or part-time Small Animal Surgery Specialist to join our purpose-built hospital and mobile specialist service in beautiful Sydney, Australia.
You will be a part of the Veterinary Specialists of Sydney (VSOS) family, which is a fast-growing privately owned business. At VSOS everything we do is based upon the belief in our team. About us:
Currently, we have specialists in internal medicine, surgery, radiology, and anaesthesia and are complimented by advanced residents and nursing staff. Our brilliant specialist teams consist of internal medicine, Dr Karina Graham, Dr Barbara Gallagher, Dr Amy Pepper, Dr Matteo Bordicchia, and Dr Chris Greenwell (residency trained), surgery specialists, Dr Andrew Levien, Dr Michelle Jaffe, Dr Rachel Basa, Professor Kenneth Johnson, Dr Laurencie Brunel and Dr Elizabeth LaFond, specialist radiologist, Dr Joanna Pilton.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards and are well-equipped, including in-house 1.5T MRI, a 64 slice CT, mobile digital x-ray, brand-new fluoroscopy, and an extensive array of equipment for complex orthopaedics, soft tissue and neurosurgical cases.
About you:
The ideal candidate is open-minded, adaptable, willing to learn, a team-player and has great communication skills. We love to work as a team and bounce ideas off one another; sharing of knowledge, technique and experience with each other is vital. A sense of humour is important, as is the ability to have fun.

Remuneration for a suitably qualified surgery specialist will be above average. Qualified specialists and senior residents or registrars are welcome to apply.
