After graduating with a BVSci degree in 2011 from Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga, Tim worked in mixed large animal practice in NW Tasmania for two years before relocating to his hometown of Tamworth.
Tim then travelled and worked as a veterinary locum for the next five years in the United Kingdom and Australia before taking up a full-time position as an ER vet at a large small animal referral hospital in Hong Kong.
The variety in caseload, spontaneous nature of the ER room and the ability to help people and their pets at an often stressful and emotional time are just part of why Tim has pursued a career in the ER.
Now back in Australia, Tim shares his time between working at VSOS and his families farm in Tamworth. Tim is an avid sports fan and traveller and takes the opportunity to pursue both at any opportunity.
