Neurological Surgery

Neurosurgery

What is neurological surgery?

When it comes to animals, they are not very different to humans. They have a range of emotions the way we do. And it’s no different when it comes to illnesses, including neurological conditions.

Neurological conditions affect the brain, spinal cord and central nervous system of small animals. So yes, they can have an illness like epilepsy, or can become paralysed due to an injury or disease.

As with all illnesses, the earlier the diagnosis, the earlier your beloved pet can be treated. And when it comes to neurosurgery, you want to see a veterinary surgical specialist as soon as possible to get the right treatment underway.

For vets, you can refer your patient to us at VSOS. We have been working in partnership with vets throughout Sydney since we founded VSOS.

And for pet owners, you can contact us directly to discuss your pet’s neurological concerns.
