VSOS’s brand-new advanced treatment centre is unlike any other animal hospital in Sydney.

The hospital is equipped with start-of-the-art MRI, CT, x-ray and fluoroscopy machines that deliver exceptional image quality and give us an accurate diagnosis allowing us to make the right decisions quickly and provide treatment fast.

We have purposefully designed our advanced treatment centre for patient comfort and accessibility – providing a calmer experience for the patient and faster recovery times.

The VSOS team of specialist vets and vet nurses accepts referrals for specialist treatment, surgery, CT Scans, MRI and X-ray imaging for household animals of all breeds, shapes and sizes.

CT scanner – Siemens SOMATOM go.Up

In our animal hospital, we use new, premium technology such as the SOMATOM go.Up®.
This technology turns complex exams into routine procedures, providing better results and a calmer experience for the patient.

This advanced machine uses lower doses of radiation during each scan, so the patient’s safety is protected at all times while still producing high-quality CT images with speed and accuracy.

The SOMATOM go.Up® technology has the advantage of:

MRI machine – Siemens MAGNETOM Sempra

We also use the new MAGNETOM Sempra system to deliver consistently high-quality scans for neurological diseases and orthopaedic issues, as well as cardiovascular issues with reliable consistency. We are able to manoeuvre it with ease and flexibility around our new animal hospital, making it possible to achieve a consistently high image quality, resulting in minimal disruption to the patients we treat.

Fluoroscopy machine – Philips Zenition 50 with mobile c-arm and image intensifier

We chose the Philips Zenition 50 Fluoroscopy machine because of its unique technology in capturing real-time X-ray imaging. Our specialists are able to visualise complex structures and dense anatomy with exceptional clarity and dose control through advanced image processing algorithms. This assists us in various diagnostic and interventional procedures.

The Philips Zenition 50 captures outstanding, high-quality images, reducing the amount of exposure for patients without compromising on image quality.
