We are excited to announce a partnership with one of Australia’s leading dermatologists, Dr. Dani Hoolahan and the Veterinary Dermatology Clinic.
Dr Dani graduated from Murdoch University in 2007 with honours. She worked in busy, small animal general practices both in Sydney, Australia and Portland, Oregon before completing a dermatology internship in Perth, Western Australia and then moving to the University of California, Davis to join the dermatology service at the William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital as a resident.
She completed her residency in 2013 and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in the same year. She has worked in busy dermatology referral practice since 2014 and is the founder of the Veterinary Dermatology Clinic.
Dr Dani specialises in allergic skin and ear disease, chronic infections, immune-mediated skin disorders, hormonal skin disease, nail and nail bed disease. Reports are sent to your family veterinarian to ensure consistency of care.
Dr. Callum hails from the trendy inner west of Sydney and has wanted to be a vet for as long as he can remember.
While studying veterinary medicine at the University of Sydney he conducted research into antibiotic therapy for mycobacterial skin diseases in cats – a research project that sparked his love of veterinary dermatology. After a stint in small animal practice in Canberra, he relocated back to Sydney and undertook an intensive small animal medicine internship prior to pursuing specialty training in dermatology at Colorado State University’s James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
Dr. Callum is thrilled to be home and now working with the Veterinary Dermatology Clinic. He loves all aspects of dermatology and looks forward to helping you and your pet!
