Sophie graduated from the University of Adelaide with a BSc and DVM in 2017. Following this, she worked in rural practice in Victoria for 3 years, where her passion for emergency medicine evolved.
Sophie moved to the Illawarra region at the beginning of 2021 for a seaside change and has since pursued her passion for emergency medicine as a part of the VSOS team.
Sophie has 2 dogs at home, Pip the Kelpie and Vivvy the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.
In Sophie’s spare time she enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, hiking and pottery.
