Dr Michelle Sutherland

Dr Michelle Sutherland graduated from Sydney University in 2006 with first-class honours in BVSc. Michelle went straight into small animal practice. Michelle has worked within the Sutherland Shire for the past 15 years.

Michelle has experience in providing 24-hour on-call emergency medicine and surgery services along with general practice services. In 2017 Michelle became Hospital Director and Principal Veterinarian of an 11 vet/16 nurse hospital where she led the team for 5 years until joining the VSOS team in 2022.

Michelle has a special interest in everything to do with small animals. She has completed continuing education in internal medicine, radiology, dermatology, ultrasonography, endoscopy, rabbit medicine, and surgery.
