Dr Kettie Yu

Dr Kettie grew up in Victoria, Australia. Her love of animals meant the pathway to becoming a vet was a natural choice. She pursued this passion at the University of Melbourne, earning a Bachelor of Science in 2018 before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2021.

She completed a rotating internship and developed a strong interest in managing complex cases. She pursued a medicine internship at Peninsula Vet Emergency and Referral Hospital where she refined her diagnostic skills and deepened her knowledge of internal medicine.

Her key areas of interest include immune-mediated diseases, oncology, and gastrointestinal disease. As a devoted feline lover, all cats hold a special place in her heart. She takes great pride in ensuring all animals receive the highest level of care.

Outside of work, Dr Kettie enjoys pilates, scuba diving, and spending time in and around the water. She joined the VSOS team in 2024 and has loved exploring the beautiful coastlines of Sydney. She also enjoys unwinding with her 12-year-old foster fail Burmilla cat, Yuupi.
