Dr Alpha Hooi

Dr Alpha is a University of Sydney 2009 graduate with honours in Dermatology.
She originally practiced in Newcastle before returning to her hometown of Sydney where she continued to work both in private practice as well as at various greyhound racetracks.

Her interests lie particularly in small animal surgery, sports medicine and rehabilitation but enjoys all aspects of GP and emergency work.

Outside of work, Alpha is an avid reader who intermittently enjoys Zumba and always likes gin. She has 2 rescue cats and a rescue dog; Ernest Monster Hemingway, Toy Story and Arkie, along with 1 non-rescued husband and 3 children.
