Dr Diego Alza is a highly experienced veterinary neurologist and neurosurgeon dedicated to diagnosing and treating complex neurological conditions in dogs and cats. With a warm, compassionate approach and advanced clinical expertise, Dr Alza provides comprehensive care for patients facing seizures, spinal injuries, brain and nerve disorders, and more.

Dr Alza has a strong background in both clinical practice and academic training. He is passionate about using advanced imaging, electrodiagnostics, and surgical techniques to deliver tailored treatment plans that prioritise each pet’s wellbeing and quality of life.

Our specialised imaging equipment allows for fast and accurate diagnosis of many neurological conditions, including:

  • Atlantoaxial-luxation stabilisation
  • cervical spondylomyelopathy (Wobbler syndrome)
  • intervertebral disc disease (pre-operative myelogram, CT or MRI are indicated)
  • lumbosacral decompression/stabilisation or epidural steroid
  • spinal fractures.
